Important Notice Regarding the Mobile Coverage
Cell Coverage in the Forest Areas
As you may be aware, RJL is situated deep inside the forest and is surrounded by Reserve Forest and Protected Forest, for many miles.
As the approach to the property and the villages enroute, is through the Sanctuary area, therefore no Optical Fiber Cable has been laid and the topography / geography of the region, being (hilly) Vindhyachal Ranges, precludes any possibility of an alignment of a Cell Site Tower which is erected, with another one, beyond the Sanctuary Area, thereby ruling out a Microwave Backbone. Therefore, you may find no cell coverage in the forest, as you drive up to RJL, from any side.
However, we do realize that our guests, in today’s world are bound by personal and professional commitments and therefore as such cannot remain cut off from the rest of the world. Therefore, with great difficulty, we have created our very own network spaces and areas, for you to remain in touch, with the outside world.
Reception, the GolGhar (our Restaurant), boasts of coverage of all Cellular Service Providers (1800 / 900 MHz).
In the aforementioned areas, all the Voice and Data Services, 2G, 3G and at times even 4G, shall remain active and at your disposal.
